Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

Mr Solomon, you answered a legal question for me and I have a second question with regard to the same case. Can you please help me.

On 11/8/10 a civil judgement was rendered against me, on 12/3/10 I file an appeal. On 2/9/11 I filed the notice of NonPros per your suggestion on this site. I have not heard anything from anyone, what is my next step? I really appreciate you help.

Contact the court's clerk, and ask what are the steps for recording a judgment by non pros. Let the clerk know that you have properly served notice of your intent to seek a judgment non pros, but the plaintiffs have not responded. In Philly, you would simply file a 'praecipe to issue a judgment by non pros'. The praecipe would include a certification that you followed certain steps prior to recording your default judgment. I do not know what county you are in, so I can't give you specific advice. But the court's clerk should be able to help you.

Good luck.
