Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

A short story was written and published about events that did not happen. Although the book states that it is "loosely" based on real events, the original post of the story online contains a person's real name, and the exact date. Googling both together provides a ton of information about this "event" that didn't happen. Do I have a case, considering the "event" is/was considered illegal?

Are you the person that the story based the facts upon. in that case you may have some claim if the the story in some way defamed you and if others also make the connection and it somehow injures your repytation. if not you, then you would certainly have no claim. if the short story is about you with the other implied facts I suggest you contact an attorney to see if you have a case.
