Legal Question in Insurance Law in Pennsylvania

Pedestrian Liability

My 10 yr. old grand-daughter was hit by a car recently. The driver's insurance company is now trying to collect money from my daughter for damage to the car and for a rental car. The insurance company previously offered my daughter a $250 settlement to give up her right to sue, which she declined to accept even though she has no plans to do so. I'd like to know if my daughter and son-in-law are legally responsible.

Re: Pedestrian Liability

There really is no way an attorney could figure this out over the Internet. First, I hope the child is well. Second, make an appointment an go see an attorney, with the other parties.

There are rights and responsibilities that must be asserted in a timely manner in order to be protected.
