I am employed doing outside sales. As of january my employer is putting me on comission. he said he is making me responsible for past due money owed by my customers. Can he legally do that?

If your employer is making you responsible for collecting past due accounts, yes it can do that. If your employer is threatening to dock your compensation based upon some uncollected amounts, you should consult an employment lawyer.
