Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Holiday Pay

We work 12 hour shifts. Company paid double time plus 8 hours which then went to time and a half plus 8 hours for holidays worked. Now they are closing on holidays and pay just 8 hours when for a day that would be a 12 hour shift. Holiday weeks have become a financial burden as we do not even get above 40 hours to get regularly scheduled overtime. Do we have any rights or say in this holiday robbery? Vacation days are paid at 12 hours and one ''holiday of choice'' is only 8. Jury duty and funeral leave ( 3 days ) were paid at 12 hours and are now also at 8.

Re: Holiday Pay

You may have an overtime/wage compensation claim, but it depends on the facts. You should call our offices to discuss. We handle cases like this.
