Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Hours cut

I am paid on salary with my current job. They just informed me that my hours will be cut and I will be paid based on the number of hours I work. I was told they can not do that since I am paid salary. Is that true?

Re: Hours cut

PA is an employment at will state, thus they can likely can terminate you as a salaried employee and offer you a position as an hourly worker.

Your choice whether you continue working for them or find new employment.

I am assuming no employment contract giving you other rights.

Good luck to you.
