child support and security deposit

kid most likely not my husbands, but it has been years - we never had the money to fight it - and still don't - now they are stealing his money!!!!! Can we fight it?

Also, how long does landlord have to return a security deposit?

The time to fight it was to have filed a paternity action when he was first sued for support.

If the landlord has you new address he has 30 days to return the security deposit or present you with charges for damages. If the damages don't exceed you deposit you should get the difference back.
