Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

I recently was "evicted" from my apartment due to the property being sold to a develpoment company. Our lease stated they would give us 30 days to get out and then 30 days after we move out we would have our security deposit given back. Well 30 days have come and gone and I tried calling the landlords- both of which i had cell phone numbers and the numbers have both been disconeccted. I am not sure of where to go from here! help!

Courts like something called "proof". You need to send legal notice in a legally accepted manor. Right now, they will have excuses, and will likely say they did not know how to get in touch with you, and you can't prove they had any way to get in contact with you. Unless your contract says otherwise, ALWAYS send legal notices by mail - send it Cert. Return Reciept, and keep a copy of the letter. If they do not respond to the written demand for your deposit back, you sue them, and now you have proof they had notice and knew how to get in touch with you!!!
