Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

removing material

Our amateur radio club has a problem and very little money.

Many of our fixtures for our building have been provided by members.

Several members formed a clique and have left the organization.

They had keys to the building and have returned and removed things that they had provided, such as the furnace, electrical apparatus and antennae.

Do we (the club) have any recourse?

Thank you.

Bob

Re: removing material

If they were gifts to the organization, then the organization can take them to small claims court for their recovery.

A police report may be helpful.

If they were loans to the club then they might be able to retrieve them.

As the new OJ case shows, self help can get you locked up.

Good luck to you.
