Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Pennsylvania

my son is 16 yrs of age and was suspended for 5 days due to him and 5 other students were throwing pencils around according to the principle they were aiming at the bus driver.... he was not harmed/hurt. but now the school called me to inform me that the school is going to press charges......is that so? my son is a good kid he is just 16 and needs to be guided in the right dirrection.

If the school decides to press charges, you should retain a lawyer for him as soon as possible. I would like to tell you that your son has nothing to worry about, but after the scandal in Wilkes-Barre involving juveniles imprisoned for minor matters, i would not take any chances.
