Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Pennsylvania

Malpractice by a lawyer

The attorney I hired didn't file within the 6 month breach of contract and I never got a chance to go to court. I want to know if I can go after him for malpractice.

Re: Malpractice by a lawyer

I've never seen a contract that required a law suit to be started within 6 months, although I guess it's possible. I would check to make sure that's correct. However, if the attorney failed to file a law suit within the time permitted, it may be malpractice IF you would have won the underlying case. You should consult with an experienced attorney in your area to see if the case is worth pursuing.
