Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania

Not giving treatment

I was diagnosised with ms in '97. It was not that bad, but i did ask what i could or should be on.I was told i should not be on anything . I nowe collect ssa&ssi . I recieved my records , because of moving out of state. In the record it state the doctor ask me what medication i would like to be own and i declined it . Which did not happened. It is a great possibility if i would have gotten medication when i wanted it i would not be the way i am today. Is there anything i can do ?

Re: Not giving treatment

It sounds like you are complaining about care a doctor failed to give you many years ago. It is true that ms treatment is recommended early in the course of the disease. However, in Pa a claim against a doctor must be filed in court within two years of an injury resulting from carelessness. It is not clear from the facts you describe when you were given the advise you think was wrong or when and how your disease progressed. Are you being treated lnow? How? has it worked? If you would like further information call me with further facts. 1 412 281-4200
