Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

I was in a car accident in Jan of 2010. I was driving a company vehicle to work. The weather was bad and the brakes locked up and I ended up being thrown from the truck and received numerous injuries. Including half of my liver being removed. I have numerous scars that really bother me and I was denied worker's comp because I was on my way to work and not working during the firm of the accident. I want to file a personal injury claim because I was told that the tuck needed new tires and the brakes were faulty after the fact, but I am not certain that the police report states this because I assumed the officer doing the investigation assumed it was due to the weather.

You potentially have a case on several different theories. There may even be a possibility to get you back into the workers' compensation process as well. One of the main issues that requires investigation is whether an inspection of the vehicle was performed after the accident and what those results were. If the vehicle is still around, it may be possible to take a look at it again. Simply because the brake issue was not included in the police report does not necessarily prevent you from bringing a claim.

I would be happy to speak with you regarding this matter to discuss the entire incident in more detail. Thank you.
