Deceased Grandparents estate being sued

My granparents were killed 2 years the end of Feb. The person that hit them is now suing their estate, which just consists of the home they lived in, my uncle was left this. There are four children, nine grand-and 9 great-grand children who all have suffered. Should we push my uncle to hire and attorney or let the insurance company handle it. My uncle had a stroke may 31 of 2005, 3months after their death, no reason was found but stress, becasue of this his quality of life has been effected, hw was a school teacher and loved to cook go the beach with our family go out with his friends now he can no longer do much he goes to physical therapy 3 time a week, but we dont know if he would ever be able return to teaching. He was 50 when this happend . I just need some advice

you need two attorneys. Turn the lawsuit over to the insurance company for a defense. why is the estate not pursuing a claim against the at fault person in this accident? Where did it happen?

Dear Sir/Ma'am:

What a terrible thing...I do apologize.

If they had car insurance, then it's important for you to let the insurance company know about the lawsuit so that they can get a lawyer to defend the estate.

Your email said that the other guy "hit them". My question is: Did they (or their estates) ever bring suit against other guy's insurance company for the death that resulted from the car accident?

I practice this kind of law in Pennsylvania, New Jersy and Florida.

Take care and good luck.
