Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

my dog was shot

there was a burglar alarm that went off in my neighbors home. The police responded, but went into my house (by mistake). My dog was at home, but we were at work. The police shot my dog twice. My dog is still alive, but needs surgery and follow up care. What is my recourse? Are all of my vet bills going to be covered? what do I do?

If you resident of and the incident occured in Pa. you have a potential claim. You need to consult a lawyer with experience in civil actions.
