Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

My fiances father passed away 5 years ago due too injury's he suffered from falling down a cement Stair case. However they had an attorney who was pursuing a case after business insurance aspect However he didn't have any insurance at the time and also went for bankruptsy for his business. My question is Would there be any other legal action she could take or is it past the statue of limitations to do anything?

The statute of limitations in a PA death case is 2 years. Unless papers were filed with the Court within 2 years of your fiances father's accident or death, there is generally nothing that can be done. If you have any doubts or questions, you should discuss the specific facts of the case with a lawyer, but, truthfully, I would not hold out much hope.
