What is the proper procedure for a restaurant to handle a situation such as ice, and snow falling on the customers head off of the roof above the entry way?

The restaurant now has reason to know that the property has issues with regard to snow/ice accumulations. In addition to Jim's sound advice, the restaurant should have the issue evaluated and repaired promptly. This can be done without concern about "admitting" a problem. Under PA law a "subsequent remedial repair" is not admissible to prove negligence if a claim is filed.
