Legal Question in Product Liability in Pennsylvania

Bought a used car under financing well, not even having the car a month we broke down with the car on a Wednesday and they told us it was the starter,well we got a call the next day they had to put a new starter in it but,the wires were wrong in the car and the ignition switch was bad,so we got the car back not even for 10 minutes we had to take it back the Friday we got it because the car was extremely loud,well the dealer stated it was a bad starter they put in so,they stated they have to put a new starter in,Monday we get the call that the computer is gone in the car and they have to put a new computer in the car,in the meantime they gave us a junky loaner car which is in bad shape and have asked them numerous times for a different loaner car in which they said they dont have,Friday June 11,they call us and tell us they have no idea what is wrong with the car.Does it look like we have a case.We are tired of all the run around from them.

No. Used cars are sold as is unless the car came with a warranty. Did you get a CARFAX report? Did you have the car inspected by an independent mechanic BEFORE you bought it? If the answer is no, then you are out of luck unless the car came with a warranty. If it did, sue to enforce the warranty (by warranty, I mean a manufacturer's warranty, not a third-party warranty, which is typically junk).

My advice would be to take the car to an independent ASE-certified mechanic and find out EVERTHING that is wrong with the car. Order a CARFAX report on the car to see it ever was wrecked. If the car was wrecked and sustained more than 25% of its fair market value in damage (farir market value as of the date of the accident) and the car is 5 model years or newer OR the car was declared a total loss and was re-sold to to you anyway without a branded title, then you may have a case.
