Legal Question in Product Liability in Pennsylvania

Massager, Heater burnt and melted on son

My son had a massager, heater with a plastic attachment that came with it on his back, he had a shirt on when I saw he had it on his back I said don't leave it on for to long and looked at it, it had melted the whole plastic attachment onto the device itself. The device itself is also melted, it left red marks on my sons back. I took pictures with a cheap camara. Do I have a case to sue this company?

Re: Massager, Heater burnt and melted on son

I'm sorry your son suffered an injury. You may have a valid claim. Whether or not you pursue it depends in part on the extent of your son's injury. If it was just some red marks that went away after a short time, it is not worth pursuing. If it appears to be a permanet disfigurement, it may be worth pusuing. My office handles cases like this. Please feel free to contact me to discuss in further detail. There is no charge for a consultation.
