Mobile home owner Forced out by state and land owner.

I would like to know if when a person is forced out of his mobile home because the state is widening the road and the land owner needs more parking space.Does either party have to compensate for expenses,is the mobile home owner entitled to some kind of help or compensation for moving his or her home to a new location?Please help I have been given 30 days to move my home and I just got it payed off.I am on social security disability and cannot afford to relocate my home.thank Erie,Pa

You should contact your county Bar Association as soon as possible to seek representation for no fee or a low fee. If the County has a Community Legal Services Offices in your area, it may be able to assist you if your income qualifies you.

It may be possible for you to recover your moving costs, but an attorney should review your agreement with the owner of the land and the documents issued to you and/or the owner by the State.

Your failure to act quickly could result in your losing rights you may have.
