Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

if you are part of a subdivision that states "no commercial activity other than agricultural use" and everyone in the subdivision signs a natural gas lease, would the signing of the lease override the subdivision or would the subdivision need to be amended for the gas company to use the ground?

No, generally that provision relates to the activity that a property owner may or may not conduct on his or own property within the subdivision. Unless you own the gas company, that provision probably does not apply to the utilities. Of course, its best to read the entire provision to determine who it applies to. Good luck.
