Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

How can I do a quick deed

I got divorce about a year and a half ago. During my marriage we bought a house and my ex husband did not put me in the title. We agreed in the divorce to sell the house and split the equity in 42% to him and 57% to me. We have decided not to sell and refinance the house together so I can stay with my two kids. To do this he has to include me in the title and we are thinking of a quick deed. I need some guidance in how to do this.

Many thanks

I suggest you consult with legal counsel to have a written agreement. The transfer is simple, but the mortgage could effect your husband's credit. A deed has to be prepared placing your name on the deed. There are transfer tax issues because you are no longer married. Legal advice is needed to protect you.
