Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

real estate sale after divorce

My husband divoriced his previous wife over 8years ago and when they divoriced they both signed an agreement that once their youngest child turned 18 that the martital home would be sold. Well, my the child will be 18 on Jan. 6, 2007. My question is do we have to obtain a lawyer to enforce this decree because of course they wife does not want my husband to sell the home and she will not be corporative with selling.

Re: real estate sale after divorce

Normally, you would file a petition to enforce the Property Settlement Agreement. This would be filed in the county in which the divorce was granted.
