Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Real Estate/Property

I was sold a property eroneously by a lady who happened to be a tenant in common with her brother. She sold the property to a gentlemen from which I bought the property. There was an action for quiet title filed and the title is being quieted in the lady and her brother. I have spent about $300,000 on extensive renovations on this house and have been living in it for 2 years. Now they want to file an ejectment action against me...what are my options? can I be ejected? what happens to all the money i have spent on fixing the house?

Re: Real Estate/Property

You have a very complicated legal problem. You should contact an attorney immediately. You may need to file some type of equitable action to continue to reside in the property or to seek recourse for the monies you have spent. You may have some action against the person who sold you the property. Did you not have title insurance? call an attorney immediately to discuss your situation.
