I want roomate off my lease

Me and someone else is currently renting an apartment. and the lease ends on November 31,03. I am the primary renter ont he lease. and I want my roomate out of the property. They have stolen from me , lied to me numerous times and they no longer have a job which I have proof of And my lndlord has already informed me that I will be respondsible for paying the rent. What can I do??????

I suggest you seek legal counsel. As long as your cotenant is on the lease the only thing you can do is to sue him for the rental contribution and loss for goods stolen. You can not evict your cotenant if he is on the lease. You may be able to negotiate something that will be satisfactory. Gerald Hershenson
