Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Tax Lien Sale

Dear Sir,

I found 2acres of land with a damage home put on a foundation that is in the process of a law suit by owner, But recently I noticed The property is up for Tax sale at a low price of $4000.00 Is I pay this tax lien by a sheriff sale, Would I then own the property? Would I have problems later with the owner with his unpaid mortgage? This sale is coming up in September, I need advice asap! Thank You very much, Connie

Re: Tax Lien Sale

tax sales ae very complicated. You really need legal advise. There is a time period where the owner can redeem the tax sale. You do not own the property until this period of time elapses. You do get interest if they redeem.. You should contact an experieced real estate attny in your area. You can get hurt doing this without proper guidance
