You do not provide sufficent facts to adequately reply to your inquiry. if the person is slandering you by making false statements to third parties which would constitue slander then you may have a claim under demation law. You may have to prove that the alleged statements are false and in certain situati0ons that you were econmically harmed by the statements. Some allegations of slander may lead to damages without proving signifcant economic harm. These cases are often difficult to prove. You do not indicate what the statements concerned where they were made and how long ago. all of this is significant as there are shorter statute of limittations for these type of torts. if the statements were made in an emplyment situation this would provide other possible relief again with certain time limits being relevant. in any event I suggest you speak with an attorney in more detail to see what if any recourse may be available to you.
