Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Pennsylvania

Harassment at Work

What if your boss makes rude, sexual comments, or a co-worker makes them? What if the atmosphere at work is a "boys club" where sexually based remarks make you feel like you have to play along to get ahead?

Stopping Harassment

First, make sure there is a documented, written complaint to the human resources department. For example, write HR an e-mail, copy to yourself, and PRINT OUT that e-mail. Document all responses thereto. Then, if work does not address the problem to your satisfaction, or worse, you feel like you are being treated differently because you opened your mouth, then you should call our offices or e-mail me directly. We can handle the filing of the claim with the state or federal agency.
