Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

I got pulled over cause my truck was riding crooked, I felt that they where harassing me so i asked for his name an badge number, he got really mad an told me "you wanna get lawyers involved" he walked back to his cruiser, about 5 min. later he came back to my truck an said "now im towing your truck" i called my wife to get a lawyer, when i did this he got nervous and said that he wasnt going to tow my truck but he made me walk home in the rain. I did not have insurance but my plate was not being held.He never gave me his name or badge number. i just want my truck its my olny way to make money. My Question is in this situation can he hold my truck like that an can i do anything about the hostility against me when i tried to get counsel.

The bottom line is that you cannot legally drive a vehicle in PA unless you have insurance. There's not much you can do about his attitude, but I always tell my clients to treat police officers with respect and not to argue with them. Its only going to make things worse. Unless you go to the police station with proof of insurance, your going to have some problems getting your truck back. Insurance goes with the truck, so the truck has to be insured or it is not legal to drive it.
