Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

i am 16yrs old and my father passed away in september 2010 my aunt took my fathers ashes.i asked her for his ashes but she will not let me have them.what can i do to get my fathers ashes?

I am sorry for your loss. I have a lot of questions that you do not provide information about.

1. Was your father married?

2. Did he make a will or any other document addressing the disposition of his remains?

3. Could it be that because you are a minor, your aunt is holding the ashes for you? Or is it that she might have knowledge of what your father wished to have done with his ashes and she is going to carry out his wishes?
