Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Freezing Estate and Contesting Will

The estate of my mother has been handled by my sister who is mentally incompetent. There are 4 siblings who will receive benefits from the estate upon my mother's death. I feel the estate has been mishandled in several ways and wish to freeze the estate immediately upon my mother's death in order to obtain a complete accounting which has taken place over the past 5 years. I would like to have the forms completed and ready for filing immediately upon my mother's death which unfortunately could be any time. I am also interested in contesting the will and need advice on how to go about that and what forms I need to have prepared in regard to that aspect of the estate.

For forms, you can check out https://www.gaprobate.org/index_secure.html

However, that site does not contain all the forms you will need. This is a complex situation and I would advise you to consult with a local attorney knowledgeable in this area of probate law.
