Depends who you grandmother is survived by. Namely, if she has children who are still living, they would stand first in line to be appointed as Administrators of her estate. If all of her children are also deceased, then one or more of the grandchildren could be appointed to administer the estate. In any event, you are going to have to go through what is know as probate. You will most likely need to consult with an attorney here in Pennsylvania. Probate should be started in the county where your grandmother lived until her death. You should certainly consult with an attorney to ascertain who may be a beneficiary under the intestate laws and who should file to be appointed administrator.
