Can the mortgage company sheriff sale my home if it has been declared a disaster area, due to flooding, by President Obama?

This is not a probate, trusts wills or estates question. Probate & estates concerns the disposition of property of someone who has died. Wills & trusts generally concern the dispostion of property of someone who is alive and is considering making a will or trust.

Your question pertains to land and you would be best served by asking a real estate attorney, preferably one who specializes in foreclosure defense.

My gut reaction is that if you have not paid your mortgage, then the mortgage company can foreclose if the mortgage company first jumps through all of the hoops required by Pennsylvania law. President Obama has nothing to do with this. His declaration just qualifies the area for FEMA and other financial relief and will allow the homeowners to get assistance from the government.
