Re: being named executor of estate

A Short Certificate is what is issued by the Register of Wills when you Probate a Will. Various documents, and a small fee, will be required to have one issued. It begins the process of Estate Administration, which can involves many duties and responsibilities by who is named as the Executor (with a Will) or the Administrator (without a Will).
