our rights after death

my brother is terminal. he left his home to my sister and i in his will. my nephew is executor.upon my brothers death , who can enter the home? can my nephews wife take charge,as she told me she would. my sister and i both have keys to the home. will we have to give them up. and who pays the bills after his death? my sister, who lives in Pa . has power of attoney to his bank acct. thanks

All very good question and I would need more detail to confirm.

However as long as he is alive the POA which your sister has gives the highest priority if it is written properly she can manage his estate, pay bills etc.

After his death the executor is in charge, he gathers all of the assets and probates the will, notifies heirs and works to distribute the assets of the estate.
