Trustee Questions

Does a trustee have the right to not divulge financial information relevent to an estate. My sister is the trustee to my fathers estate, but has given very little info on the finances. Her daughter claims she does not have to give us (other siblings) anything. Is this true?? I would like a breakdown of the finances..it seems as though not all monies are accounted for. What is the role of the trustee other than seeing that my fathers wishes are met??
