Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Constructive Discharge

I was told I may have constructive discharge case. I provided billing services for a physician who placed his billing staff in a ''warehouse/garage environment'' with other employees of his other business entities. We were placed in a room with no heating ducts and had to straddle electric space heaters, the restroom had no hot water and we were continually insulted and sworn at in e-mails. I was obviously not happy with the working conditions and oppressive behavior so I provided a letter of resignation. I was good at my job and did the job I was hired to do, but was appalled with the circumstances in which we were subjected. I requested on several occasions heat and hot water but it was never provided to us. We eventually moved our office space to an area with heating ducts but it was the end of March when the move occurred and we reside in Pennsylvania and endured the winter with no heat. We also received irate e-mails questioning why the heating bills were so high when we're always complaining about being cold! I am considering filing a claim with the PA Human Relations Commission but am concerned of the possibility of a counter suit. Do I have any legal rights or just be glad that I got out of there! Thank you.
