Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

knee replacement

I've been on workers comp since June of 2003 I had my knee cap displaced at work, surgey to remove destroyed cartialage reveled I ruin over 95% of the cartilage in my knee replace was the only long term solution the insurance company has avoided the sugery and know they decided to go through it, my question seeing my job is lost because of the plant closed and knee replacement what is the proper amount of comp to request. they sent me a letter requesting a settlement amount. I grossed over 75k in my last full year of employment

You should discuss this with an attorney local to your area that practices in the area of workers' compensation. The settlements that insurance companies are proposing these days cuts off their responsibility for medical treatment and there are a lot of considerations having to do with your health insurer and coordination of benefits. It is a particularly bad idea in this situation to settle without at least consulting an attorney.
