You should consult the web site at : http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt?open=514&objID=552113&mode=2

This explains all of the possible things that can constitute willful misconduct that will prevent you from receiving UC benefits. As I do not know the nature of the conduct that caused you to be fired, I cannot tell you exactly what to include in the brief. What you should do is explain the circumstances of your firing and try to explain that your conduct was not willful or deliberate. Because UC benefits over time can amount to a large sum of money, you should probably consult with a lawyer who can either write the appeal for you or counsel you on what to write. Although this might cost some money, it will be money well spent if you win.
