workmans comp question

If beng medically treated under workmans comp, if I quit my job for another one will my previous employer no longer have to pay for medical expenses for an injury on the job?

If you change employers your old employer, or its WC insurer, is still obligated to pay the medical bills related to your work injury. However, your wage loss benefits may change, depending on how much you earn from your new job.

No, the fact that you change employers will have no impact on your right to reasonable, necessary and causally related medical care. There are some potential issues related to your entitlement to wage loss benefits or, if you are not presently receiving wage loss benefits, it could affect your right to reinstatement.
