marriege
Is there a possibility that the marriage is fake if it is only registered at local civil registry but not at NSO?
Re: marriege
no.. for as long as it is registered... local registrar or NSO... it is valid
Re: marriege
Not necessarily. It could only be that the Marriage Contract was inadvertently not registered by the local civil registrar to the Office of the Civil Registrar General, the National Statisc Office. But you have to secure a copy to determine whether it was indeed spurious. The law provides that once a marriage contract has been registered with the local civil registrar there is a presumption of regularity in the performance of duty by the concerned government official. Thus, you have to rebut the said presumption by proving that the subject marriage contract was falsified.
