Legal Question in Criminal Law in Philippines

i found out that my husband had another woman pregnant. but because i love him i continued to stay with him and he promised me that he will no longer communicate with the other woman. Also I wanted for us to build our own family. I was already pregnant when I found out that they still have communication with each other. I finally left my husband out of frustration. Its been a year now since I left him and he is not consistent with the support of our child. Can i still file charges against my husband? what could be the best case? Is it bailable and what would be the sentence. I have pictures and emails of the other woman and him together on bed as well. Thank you.

You can file a civil case against him for child support to ensure that he regularly provides for your child. As for criminal case, if you can prove that he is cohabiting (not just communicating) with the other woman then you can file a case for concubinage. However, it should be emphasized that your husband has the obligation to support both his legitimate and illegitimate children.
