Legal Question in Family Law in Philippines
we are separated and my wife is now in another country. during a chat conversation, she told me she already has a boyfriend there and they are planning to marry soon. I saved the screen shots of her messages, can i use these as evidence? she also told me that she used a "separated" status in Canada for her to remarry. What shall I do, please advise

Well it may be an admission of marital infidelity. However, she cannot be prosecuted here because of the principle of territoriality. Meaning our criminal laws only punishes crimes committed in our terrotorial jurisdiction. Even the falsification cannot be punished here if she committed it in Canada. What you can do is to report it to the immigration authorities of Canada that your wife falsified her personal circumstances. Good luck to you.
