Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Philippines
illegal acts committed abroad
Can I go after someone who lives in the US for crimes/illegal acts she committed in the Philippines? The subject property is located in the Philippines but the person who made criminal and civil offenses is a resident of US. This is about condo rental. Causes of action are ejectment, theft, breach of contract, trespass to dwelling and fraud.

Re: illegal acts committed abroad
You may file case in the Philippines but as long as the respondent is overseas the court will not be able to move forward with the case. You will have to wait for the respondent to return to the Philippines.
