in an extrajudicial settlement or partition of properties, can a minor be represented by a surviving parent in adjudicating shares among heirs?

what if the minor was identified in the document as "of legal age" and the minor signed on her behalf - is the extrajudicial partition document valid? who can invalidate the document?
