is it possible for a minor for example he found guilty for a rape case at that time that he was 17 and now he's 18. is it possible na makulong na?

minor below 17 can be committed to a jail reserve for minor or be given an oppurtunity for a deferrment of service using minority as a ground. Deferrment of service is a process where by the jail term would not be imposed subject to the discretion of the court. Thanks
