Legal Question in Social Security Law in Philippines

legal question about sss

Can I still file for a maternity reimbursement though its already 9 months ago when I had my miscarriage and had my 60-day maternity leave. I am 6 months pregnant now and I visited SSS Philippines website and realized that I supposed to submit my maternity reimbursement.

Yes, you can still avail of the SSS Maternity Benefits if you are employed and located in Manila. Payment of the benefit is made by your Manila based employer and your employer would be asking the SSS for refund by filing appropriate forms (Maternity NOtification, Reimbursement Request form)
