Legal Question in Business Law in Portugal

Suing a foreign company

I would like to know if it is possible to sue a foreign company. I did internet work for Nitroclicks, never violated terms and just as I reached point where I was eligible to be paid they cancelled my account claiming I had serious multiple violations. They have done this to literally thousands of other people around the world. Is it possible to file a class action lawsuit against a foreign entity?

Re: Suing a foreign company

It is difficult to answer this question without reviewing the facts in greater detail. If a foreign company is "doing business" in this country you may sue. However, enforcement of any judgment may be a problem. You still have the option of suing in the foreign jurisdiction. I suggest you have an attorney review this matter in its entirety and give you an opinion as to your options. If I can be of any assistence please let me know. For a very minor fee I can review this matter and advise you. I would charge $125 for such a review. Please let me know. I can be reached at 215-579-9390. Gerald Hershenson Esq.
