Wow, what a question. I keep reading questions, here and wondering, can that be a real question, or is that simply some lawyer having a laugh.

No doubt, there are many lawyers here eager to answer that question, since each of us could probably do okay at it. But, if you really want to know, your best bet would be to take a Con Law class somewhere.

That clause of the Fourteenth Amendment is applied whenever a person claims that he was treated, by the state, differently from others similarly situated. Depending on the category of the classification that the injured person alleges that was applied to him, state actions will be evaluated pursuant ot three standards that increase the level of scrutiny of the justification for the classification.
