I need to now if theres a legal document for a declaration of heritage, my case is on houses and cars i whant to stay with the houses but not the cars and i need to do a declaration were it says that im dening to receive the cars as heritance can you help me and were can i go for this matter and all this takes place on Puerto Rico and im in Massachusetts

You have to commence a heir declaration proceeding in the Puerto Rico Superior Court. However, in order to accept or deny the estate you have only three choices accept it in whole, deny it in whole, or accept it "at inventory benefit". You cannot choose which goods within the estate you will accept and which you will not accept. Sell the cars and keep the houses, but you cannot choose to accept the houses and deny the cars. You may accept the houses after selling the cars, through a public deed.
